The city is also a home to the annual Cuban Day Parade which is wildly celebrated in New Jersey. Since Union City is very close to New York City and Jersey City, the town was settled by the same group of people who have explored New York in 1609 and named it New Netherland. These historical elements are truly visible in the culture and in the architecture of the city, so those who are interested in art, culture, and landmarks should not hesitate to visit Union City.

Moreover, for a gorgeous scenic walk along Hudson River, go to Hoboken Waterfront Walkway which is a long walkway that overlooks New York. Tourists can also take a ferry to the city to avoid sitting in traffic for hours. Additionally, Hamilton Park is also a great place to go where for some nice and quiet time away from the hustle of the city. This park also overlooks Manhattan and Union City making it an amazing view at night! Definitely worth a visit to see the skyline of New York.
