From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel like you’ve found your long-lost British/Bermudian family. Greeted with hugs at the airport, you’ll quickly discover that Ray and Kay are a wealth of knowledge for not only the best places to go on the island, but also regarding the island’s rich colonial history.
The pair will arm you with the knowledge you need to navigate the island using the bus system and will make recommendations on the best places to visit — from the best off-the-beaten path beaches to the go-to spots for local cuisine.
You’ll stay in a historic house which is more than 100 years old (and as Kay explained, actually one of the “newer” houses on the island). The room you stay in is located next to a renovated porch — revamped to become an indoor area (your living room for your stay). A homemade breakfast is included in the cost of your stay, and we’re willing to bet you’ll enjoy your mornings admiring the couple’s garden and chatting with the pair.
You’ll leave wishing you had more time on the island, and we’re willing to bet will spend your time at the airport scheming a way to come back as soon as possible.
