If you work in startups, TechCrunch Disrupt is an event not to be missed. The event brings some of the world’s greatest tech experts together under one roof to share insights and foresight on topical issues in the tech world.

While the 2017 line-up hasn’t been announced yet, TechCrunch Disrupt speakers usually include tech industry luminaries and rising stars. TechCrunch 2016 featured the likes of Travis Kalanick, Uber’s co-founder, Tim Armstrong, CEO of AOL and Marni Waldon, Vice President of Verizon, the largest wireless provider in the US, which now owns both AOL and Yahoo!.

TechCrunch Disrupt will include on-stage interviews with industry leaders, a startup battlefield competition, the latest updates in startup and tech news, a 24-hour Hackathon, as well as after-parties where techies can unwind. There is also a great program called CrunchMatch that runs during the conference, which matches investors with startups. If you’re looking for a place to pitch ideas to potential investors and venture capital firms, this is the event for you!

Getting to TechCrunch Disrupt

San Francisco International Airport is only a 30-minute BART ride from downtown. Trains arrive every 15 minutes and the fare is $9. Ubers and taxis are also plentiful and will cost you around $25.
