Austin is rightly named the live music capital of the world and Austin City Limits helps the city live up to its reputation. For 15 years, Austin City Limits has provided a fun, engaging environment for the entire family, as well as material for PBS’s music television series.
The 2017 Austin City Limits festival will feature over 140 performances across 8 stages, food options from over 35 award-winning chefs, merch giveaways, artist signings, and an art market.

Austin City Limits Dates & Location
Austin City Limits takes place in Austin, Texas’ Zilker Park over two weekends in October. Festival doors are open from 11am-10pm each day.

This year’s ACL lineup includes Jay-Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance the Rapper, Gorillaz, The XX, Solange, Foster the People, Tove Lo and hundreds more!
Austin City Limits 2017 Tickets
All passes include access to the festival grounds, market, kiddie zone, and food area. VIP admission includes dedicated rest areas, spa treatments, catered lunch and dinners, complimentary Wi-Fi and VIP parking. Platinum passes receive all of that plus designated viewing areas, golf cart transport, a merchandise bag and more. Single day general admission, VIP and platinum tickets are available as well.

How to Get to Austin City Limits
Bike – As part of their environmental initiatives, ACL strongly encourages biking to the festival and has bike racks set up at each entry point. Austin B-cycle has partnered with ACL to offer bike rentals throughout the city.
Car – Driving is discouraged and there are several alternatives. If you must drive, there are several parking garages near the festival grounds. Check here for a full list.
Metro – CapMetro, Austin’s public transport system, will have additional trains to meet increased demand. Check CapMetro’s rates and schedules.
Rideshare – Ride Austin is the only rideshare platform available in the city. The company has a designated drop-off point just outside the festival grounds.
Shuttle – ACL offers a complimentary shuttle that runs from 10a-11p with a pickup location at Republic Square in downtown Austin.
Drop-off Location – The designated drop-off location is at the north end of the Mopac Pedestrian Bridge on Stephen F. Austin Drive next to Austin High School. From there, you can walk to the festival entrance just across the footbridge.

Austin City Limits Eats
Austin City Limits could very well be a food festival. Austin is known for its crafty eats and ACL Festival treats its food scene appropriately. You’ll find vegan, vegetarian, meat, sweets and drinks all crafted by award-winning chefs.
Austin City Limits Art Market
Austin City Limits features artisan goods and necessities from local vendors at their art market. ACL attendees can browse through and buy anything from custom T-shirts to paintings or accessories.
Austin City Limits Cares
ACL Cares is Austin City Limits’ initiative to mitigate negative effects on the environment. From recycling programs to water diversion initiatives, ACL does its part in maintaining a sustainable environment. Take part in the Rock and Recycle program or get involved in the Don’t Mess with Texas Campaign.
Austin Kiddie Limits
ACL has created an entire park dedicated to kids. Zilker Park, which is adjacent to the festival grounds will be full of fun activities, games, music and kiddie competitions to keep your little ones entertained. The park hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., and all festival guests are welcome to bring their children.
