Located just north of the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California’s wine country, Country Summer attracts some of country music’s biggest stars as well as some 27,000 fans. Founded in 2014, the festival is young and growing and is earning a reputation as one of the premier country music events west of the Mississippi.

Country Summer takes place from Friday, June 16 to Sunday, June 18, 2017, at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, CA.

Getting to and From Country Summer
Air – Oakland and San Francisco International Airports are both about an hour from the festival grounds.
Shuttle Bus – Rally shuttles offer “high end” buses to the festival from pick up locations across the Bay Area. Check out the website for reservation details.
Car – Almost all cars will arrive at the festival via Highway 101. The festival website has provided a useful parking map to help festival goers pick their spots. The standard parking fee is $10. Note that handicapped parking is limited and those who have special access needs should aim to arrive a little earlier.
Where to Stay for Country Summer
Wine country is beautiful and it’s only right that it offers some excellent accommodations options. We’ve found a few that might catch your eye.
House – If you have a big group of friends and you’re looking for a little luxury, this Santa Rosa house sleeps up to 12 and offers a pool and beautiful views of Northern California forest below. Splitting the $1,450 starting price is up to you and your friends.
House – This house outside of downtown Santa Rosa is perfect for a group of four attending the festival. Relax on the backyard patio after a few performances. It might even be a good place to open a bottle of wine bought from one of the local wineries. Booking goes for $506 per night.
Airbnb – This cottage in Santa Rosa is perfect for couples attending Country Summer. Downtown Santa Rosa is within walking distance and the five-star review that stands after almost 200 reviews makes this cottage hard to turn down. Booking goes for $156 per night with a minimum two-night stay.
