1. Rent a house
Renting one of the many beautiful houses in the area is a great option if you’re going to the festival with a group of friends. You might even score one with a pool. Check out the complete for specific suggestions for house rentals.
2. You’re in wine country…
As a break from the festival beers, make sure you open at least one bottle of wine from one of the local wineries.
3. Check out the VIP area
The Country Summer Country Club offers a cash bar and buffet style meals, not to mention a break from the sun.
4. Rent a locker and charge your phone
You can reserve lockers with phone charging options online. Hard to say no to that combination. You can even leave stuff in the locker overnight.
5. Know the no-nos
Blankets, coolers, umbrellas and reclining chairs are all to be left at home. However, snacks and a container of water per person will be allowed.
6. Get your seats early
Being at the front of the general admission section is the idea right? So get there early and make sure you have a great view.
7. Explore the area
If you haven’t been before, California wine country is beautiful. A trip to a winery or even driving around the area is well worth the time. Just north of the sprawling urban metropolis that is the Bay Area, wine country feels like another world.
8. Bring an American flag
It’s a summer country concert. It’s only right.
