This year’s Leefest is back with an almighty splash! The festival features a lineup of the best new music acts and top DJs, including Annie Mac, Jake Bugg, Kate Tempest and an epic Jungle DJ set. Plus — the festival is known for its crazy fancy dress themes. Get ready to party! Here are our top tips to help you make the most of the festival weekend.
1. Get your parking pass
Purchase your parking ticket ahead of the festival to make sure you get a spot. Parking costs $12 per car. Book Leefest Car Parking.
2. Get to know the three different tribes
This year’s festival has three themes: 1980s Lost Boys, Mermaids and Pirates. So bring one (or three) costumes to embrace this year’s themes.
3. Be prepared to queue
Past festival goers say that there are long queues for the showers. If you’re camping, be ready to queue to be clean!
4. Campsite opening times
The campsite opens on Thursday, August 10, at 2 pm.
5. Make the most of the location
The festival site is right by the historic Hever Castle — if you have the time it’s worth a visit!
6. Age limit
You have to be at least 17 years old to attend Leefest — and you’ll need ID to prove it.
7. Money, money, money
There aren’t ATMs on site, but you can get cash back over the bar when you order a drink — this can be a slow process, however, so bring enough cash to float your trip!
