Aspen Music Festival is a giant showcase of the best musical talent in the world, featuring everything from chamber music to jazz. The festival takes place in Aspen, Colorado over three months from the end of June to August. It features a whopping 300 events and performances, including the likes of Joshua Bell, Sharon Isbin and Sarah Chang, alongside orchestra performances and musical masterclasses.

Aspen Music Festival Location and Dates

Aspen Festival is set in the Benedict Music Tent in Aspen, Colorado. The festival runs from June 29 – August 20, 2017.

Spanning three months, the 2017 festival features 300 different acts, including Sharon Isbin, Arnaud Susmann, Sarah Chang, Nicholas McGeegan and Joshua Bell.

Aspen Festival Full Season Pass – $935

Includes admittance to all scheduled events through the season.

Aspen Festival Select Season Pass – $425

Includes admittance to all events, except events on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

Getting To and From Aspen Festival

Air – The nearest airport is Aspen-Pitkin County Airport for domestic flights or Denver International Airport for international flights.

Bike – Take in the natural beauty and bike to the festival. Bike rentals are available through WE-cycle, Aspen’s community bike share program.

Bus – Guests are encouraged to take public transport to the festival as the small town of Aspen can get really full. Check out the Aspen Festival map and bus schedule to plan your trip.

Car – Guests are encouraged to use alternative transportation methods as parking is limited and the city gets quite crowded.

Walk – The town is pretty small and certainly beautiful enough for you to take a stroll down to the festival. With all the nearby hotel options, you won’t have to walk too far.
