Forecastle Festival is known for its music, art and activism. Once a neighborhood event, the festival now draws in a crowd of tens of thousand of happy festival goers. And with such an epic lineup, it’s no wonder! Taking the stage this year are LCD Soundsystem, old-school favorites Weezer, Odesza, Cage the Elephant and the uber cool PJ Harvey.

This year’s Forecastle Festival features an epic lineup of electro music, indie, rock and DJs.

Friday: Cage the Elephant, Run the Jewels, Waka Flocka Flame and Odesza

Saturday: LCD Soundsystem, Sturgill Simpson, Phantogram and Clasixx

Sunday: Weezer, PJ Harvey, Spoon and Foxygen

Getting to and From Forecastle Festival

Air – The nearest airport is Louisville International Airport, which is a 15-minute-drive to the festival site.

Shuttle – Shuttles run between the city center and the hotels. You can also organize a shuttle to pick you up from your house. Prices vary depending on the distance. Check out the Forecastle Festival Shuttle planner

Car – There is plenty of parking by Waterfront Park. Check out the official Louisville parking map to plan ahead.

Bus – Waterfront park is in the middle of Louisville’s transportation network, with buses running to the site such as TARC routes 1, 2, 4, 6, 15, 17, 18, 31, 43 and 55.
