Tech fans get ready. Summit LA 2017 is just around the corner. Join other like-minded entrepreneurs from November 3-6 in downtown Los Angeles for a series of workshops, health and wellness classes, art performances and more. This year will be the 11th annual digital summit at its flagship campus, and there will be an expected 3,500 participants in attendance. The Speaker Lineup
This year’s speaker lineup includes Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, and Reed Hastings, CEO of Netflix, to name a few. As if that’s not enough, Shonda Rhimes, creator of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal, is on the program.
If you’re more into politics, come hear from Governor John Hickenlooper (Colorado) and Governor Jay Inslee (Washington) or retired 4-Star General Wesley Clark. Other highly anticipated guests include world-renowned athletes, Kobe Bryant and Pele, Nobel Prize-winning Biologist Elizabeth Blackburn, co-founder of Black Lives Matter, Janaya Khan, and Grammy Winning record producer, Quincy Jones. Some performers include indie electronic band, St Lucia, spoken word poet, Aja Monet, and comedian, Hannibal Buress. What could be better after a day of informative talks than relaxing and listening to your favorite band or soothing poetry?
Health and Wellness
This festival is not only about technology. Join health and wellness experts in a series of activities to better your wellbeing. Sessions will be led by Olympians Kerri Walsh-Jennings and Miles Chamley-Watson, “The Iceman” Wim Hof, Yoga instructors, wellness authors, and doctors. Culinary events will be taking place during the festival as well, with an incredible list of all-star chefs, including the 2015 LA Chef of the Year.
The event is in LA. If you’re coming in from another city and want to spend some extra time playing tourist in Los Angeles, there are so many things you can do.
Walk along the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard, where you can find your favorite celebrity’s star. Hike up to LA’s biggest landmark: the Hollywood sign. Or, you’re never too old to visit Disneyland.

Check out the Museum of Contemporary Art or the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which will host free Jazz concerts from now through the end of November.
History fan? Head over to the Natural History Museum of California, the largest natural and historical museum in the western United States. Right next door is the California Science Center, housing everything from astronomy to plants and nature. Food lovers, on the other hand, should go to Smorgasborg, a food-focused market happening every Sunday, now through December. Eat until you’re stuffed, with the best cuisine LA has to offer.
