The Space The apartment has a roomy living area that opens out onto a balcony.
There are 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with a comfortable sofa bed), a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bathroom/laundry with a washing machine, and one undercover carpark bay (free parking).
The second bedroom also has a workspace with a desk and chair.
There is a rooftop area with BBQ facilities for communal use in the apartment complex.
The apartment complex is fully secure. Guest Access Guests have full access to all appliances & facilities, including the undercover carpark bay.
Guests are also welcome to use the communal rooftop area, which is one flight of stairs up from the apartment. There is no requirement to book to use the area or the BBQs, they are available for use at any time. (We recommend having a drink on the rooftop or on the apartment balcony at sunset :) )
(We do ask that guests wishing to use the rooftop area be courteous of other residents in the complex with regards to noise levels, especially after 11pm.) Interaction with Guests My co-host Johnny and I will both be available to answer any queries that might arise during a guest's stay. Airbnb messenger is the best way to communicate with us, alternatively, text or call one of us via Viber or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN).
We both work full-time, so in the event that we do not answer our phones or respond to your query immediately, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. The Neighborhood West Perth is a mix of residential and commercial spaces. It's a great neighbourhood to stay in because of its unique proximity to both the main business (and shopping!) area in the CBD, and also the lively social scene in Leederville.
In terms of the closest cafes/restaurants to the apartment, there is a nice place about 200m away on Outram Street called the Mayfair. It is a pub, but has more of a restaurant/bar feel and does some great cocktails.
The cafe/restaurant "Gordon Street Garage" is a little further away, about a 5/10 minute walk and in the direction of the city. The space is awesome - as the name suggests, it is a former garage that has been renovated. They do a great breakfast/brunch (and coffee) but also have a lovely dinner menu and wines to match.
The Oxford Street area in Leederville (10 minutes walk away via Loftus Street) is filled with places to eat and drink and is a very good option if you're wanting to bar-hop or to just wander around and see what you feel like. There are many to choose from but our favourites are:
Bars: Bill's Bar, the Garden
Restaurants: Ria, Pinchos, Duende, Kitsch
Cafes: Sayers (amazing for breakfast), Foam, Cranked.
Other places of interest nearby - the Harold Boas Gardens, which are about 400m away on Wellington Street (head towards the city) are really beautiful and nice place to stop and relax. They're not huge but are a lovely little refuge in the middle of the city. If you're after something bigger, head to Kings Park, to the west of the apartment (head straight up Outram Street).
If you're into shopping, there is an outlet centre called "Watertown" that os about a 5 minute walk down Wellington Street, just beyond the Harold Boas Gardens. Getting Around Walking or catching the CAT ("Central Transit Area") bus, which is free, are the best ways to get around the areas surrounding the apartment. There are a few different routes for the CAT bus (the stops near the apartment being on the "yellow" and the "red" routes) that will take you around the city, Subiaco, Leederville and East Perth.
If you are wanting to go further afield, the West Perth railway station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment (cutting through Harold Boas gardens is the most direct way to get there if going on foot). The railway station is on the Fremantle line (approximately a 15-20 minute ride to Fremantle) and is one stop from Perth, where all the train lines in Perth connect. Other Things to Note The apartment is two flights of stairs up from the ground floor. There is no lift in the complex unfortunately, so it will not be suitable for guests with accessibility requirements. ...
