The Space This newly remodeled self contained 2 Bedroom 1 Bath Guest Apartment is located on the entire lower level of our property. It is an entirely separate unit from our living quarters. We occupy the home on the top 2 floors and your Guest unit is located on the entire 3rd floor with a private entrance & deck on the same level for your use only. Upon entering the property, you will walk down 2 flights of stairs where you will find a private entry that leads to your Guest Apartment. There is a full kitchen and a private bathroom for your use only.

Only registered Airbnb guests are allowed on property due to insurance liability. Additionally, due to some previous guests not being honest with the number of guests in their group, we have installed some security cameras by our main gate entrance to monitor who is entering in and out of our property. We kindly ask that you please take this into serious consideration before sending a booking request.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We consider our place a retreat for mature guests seeking rest and relaxation. There is no television but are set up with books, board games and of course wifi for any online media.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT
Guests staying at our place must be the minimum age of 26 or older. Children over the age of 10 accompanied by parents are welcome. Guest ID's are required at check in.
Registered Airbnb guests are welcome to use the deck until 10pm daily in consideration of our neighbors as sound carries in the hills where we live.
There is plenty of street parking. We ask that our guests park close to the house without blocking the driveway. Please position your car in the same direction as others on the street to avoid a ticket.
The guest unit you are booking features a full size Fridge with freezer, 2 Burner Electric Cooktop, Microwave, Sink, Electric tea kettle, french press for coffee and several pots and pans.

Guest Access You will get a personal greeting at the house to orient you to the property and show you all of the amenities. Check in time is after 4pm to allow enough time for housekeeping between guests and the latest check in time is at 10pm as we go to bed early most nights. No visitors due to insurance insurance liability.
Please note there is no laundry available in your guest area. For long term stay, please send us an inquiry for use of our Laundry Machines.
Please review ALL house rules before sending a booking request. Interaction with Guests We are available for whatever questions you may have and are very knowledgable about LA. We take great pleasure in being hosts to our friends and family and would like to share our experience with you! The Neighborhood Woodland Hills is drivable to all of LA, Hollywood, the Beaches and the Santa Monica Mountains. Malibu is a 15-20 minute drive from our place. Very often we take day trips to one of a kind Ojai & gorgeous Montecito in Santa Barbara County which are both exactly 1 hour driving distance. There are also several options for cycling, hiking and even vineyards to horses very close by to our home.
We are just over the canyon to Santa Monica, Malibu, Palisades and Venice Beach where we spend a lot of our time as well.
Starbucks, Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe's & Target are within 5 minutes driving distance. We are also a quick 20 minutes away from Universal Studios and Hollywood. Disneyland is an hour distance as well. Warner Center and the amazing outdoor Westfield Village shopping mall are just 5 minutes away.
Easy access to the 101 Freeway, Ventura Blvd and several Scenic Canyon Drives to the Ocean. Getting Around If you are staying for more than 3 days, we highly recommend renting a car at LAX when you land due to the vastness of Los Angeles. Plenty of street parking is available. 35 minute drive to LAX off peak hours. During rush hour, can take about an hour. Malibu is 15-20 from our place.
Burbank Airport is a 20 minute drive + LAX Airport is 35 minutes away (off peak hours).

Other Things to Note The streets in the hills of Los Angeles can sometimes be narrow and windy roads so please drive carefully. We live on a very wide street and there is plenty of parking available.
Terrace access available for Registered Airbnb guests until 10pm daily as our Master bedroom is located beside it and unfortunately the noise carries.
