Are you ready for Black Friday? Every year, Black Friday gets bigger and bigger, with companies offering incredible travel deals. You have to be flexible with dates and times to get the most out of the travel deals, but boy, are there some great deals to be had! Here are some of the best savings to prepare for, from discount hotels and resorts, through to the best flight sales:
Accommodation and Destinations
Be on standby from Black Friday through to Cyber Monday, as it’s likely many hotels will slash their prices. Here are some of the hottest deals that have been announced ahead of Black Friday:
Saint Lucia: Several hotels on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia have teamed up to offer great Black Friday discounts, with some hotels offering discounts of up to 65%. Check out hotels and resorts such as The Landings Resort & Spa, Marigot Bay Resort & Marina, and Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort.
Karisma Hotels & Resorts: All-inclusive hotel resort group Karisma, which has a chain of hotels in the Caribbean and Mexico, will be offering up to 80% discount on certain dates across the Black Friday period. Karisma also runs a ‘Black Friday Mystery Deal’ — for $99 per person per night, you can book luxury accommodation — the catch is you won’t know which of the Karisma hotel destinations you’ll be going to until a week prior to your trip.
Shangri-La Group: Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts will be offering deals across 14 of their properties in Asia and the Middle East. Some of the deals include 50% cash back of your total accommodation price, which can be used in credits for food, activities, and spa treatments at the resorts. Sounds good to us!
Hilton: Hilton hotels will be offering Black Friday deals on some of its accommodations. Last year they offered up to 30% off a stay on particular dates at hotels in the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Online Travel Agents
Some of the travel agents that have already announced their Black Friday travel deals include:
Hotels.com: Hotels.com will be running an electronic lottery on Black Friday and through the following weekend, ending at midnight on Cyber Monday. If you visit the website during that time, you can win discounts on accommodation, and the discounts range from 7% through to a whopping 99%.
Expedia: Expedia offers incredible deals during Black Friday. In the week ahead of Black Friday, there are already travel coupons offering 75% off certain hotels.
Now, for the really big savings. You can find some incredible deals on flights on Black Friday. Be open-minded to dates and timings when thinking about booking flights — and you can really make the most of it if you are open to destinations too.
