Vegas is the city of gambling, drinking, and all-night club partying – activities with an age requirement of 21+. As a result, the majority of hotels in Las Vegas require guests to be 21 or older to check-in. But there are some Vegas hotels that allow 18-21 year-olds to rent a room, as long as they have a valid ID and a credit card in their name.
While most of the hotels that will rent to people under 21 are not located on the Las Vegas Strip, that doesn’t mean The Strip isn’t easily accessible. The Hampton Inn Tropicana, for example, provides a free shuttle to The Strip as well as to McCarran International Airport. The Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center is just one mile away from the Las Vegas Strip. Hyatt Place Las Vegas, located next to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is a six-story non-gaming hotel that also offers airport and Strip shuttle service.
If you’re looking for a more luxurious stay that’s technically on The Strip, Skylofts at MGM Grand provides a 24-hour personal concierge and butler service and is located right on the south end of The Strip, with views of the entertainment below. Westgate Las Vegas is another luxury option for 18+ adults to book a room. Westgate features a theater, a day spa, and a pool with cabanas. Stay two blocks from The Strip at the Las Vegas Marriott Suites, adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
